Waking Up

Hit the snooze button.
Avoid waking up.
Avoid opening your eyes.
Avoid breathing if possible.
Realizing that there is no ignoring it,
shed a tear,
cry out,
asking why?
Have to get up.
It's cold.
Goosebumps greet you.
Shivering, shaking.
Have to get dressed.
Take off pajamas,
grab a random outfit,
get dressed quickly,
hope it'll make you warm.
It's so cold you're surprised
that you can't see your own breath.
Eyes are red,
probably from the tears last night.
Makeup.
Get rid of impurities.
Look good,
if that's possible.
Try not to cry.
Go through your day.
Fall back asleep tonight,
and hope you don't wake up.
